numerous conferences, round tables, in-depth

examinations in the arena and technological workshops,

provided a conference schedule of over thirty events

covering the widesttopics of a technological, application

and market nature on ssL. all of this was enhanced by

close collaboration with authorities, universities and

associations belonging to this sector.

The topics which were especially valued were

those connected with: energy saving and hospitality

management, the most efi cient technology available for

local government, and with designing lighting in Sales/

Contract (Retail and Hospitality).

Intelligent lighting, of thermal management and LED

systems roused interest in those who were more

“technicallyminded”, with two ad hoc plenary conferences

by assodel’s Technical committee.

In the arena, there were successful discussions dedicated

to return on investment, white certii cates (TEE) and

legislation.

LED AWARDS

Illuminotronica also provided another chance to recognise

excellence in products and in LED installations via three

awards:

The Ecohitech Award - the 15th edition aimed at Local

Governments who have adopted LED technology for

public lighting and achieved signii cant results in their

energy saving, reducing co emmissions, comfort and

appearance.

The LEDin Award - an award for young lighting designers

given to the design of LED/oLED products and

applications, with the chance to see the winning product

realized by a sponsoring company (custom Prize).

The Codega Award, the international recognition to the

best LED lighting design installations.
